MALE PEER-SUPPORT CONCEPT

Lime & Unburden

A grounded space for grief, anxiety and life pressure.
Lime & Unburden artwork
01

What it is

A facilitated male peer-support and community concept where Jamaican men can speak about the things they often carry quietly. Male-only spaces may be used where that helps participants feel safer and less watched.

02

Why it exists

Some conversations need time, trust and a room where nobody has to perform toughness. Lime & Unburden creates a community pathway for listening and connection without pretending peers can replace professional care.

03

Who it is for

For adult men who want a respectful place to reason about emotional pressure, grief, relationships, fatherhood, money, work, anger, loneliness and help-seeking.

04

Main themes

  • Grief and anxiety
  • Fatherhood and relationships
  • Financial pressure
  • Anger and loneliness
  • Masculinity
  • Support and next steps
