Men Don’t Cry is a Yaadie Chronicles project creating room for Jamaican and Caribbean men to talk about the things they are often expected to carry without complaint. From grief, depression and anxiety to fatherhood, relationships, financial pressure, identity, loneliness and the weight of always being expected to “hold it together,” the project challenges the idea that silence is strength.

Why it exists
It is not about telling men how they should feel. It is about making room for what they already feel, including the things that may never have been given a name. Through honest conversations, storytelling, practical mental-health information and future community discussions, Men Don’t Cry asks a simple question: who decided a man had to suffer quietly to prove he was a man?
